When asking students what part of the their body is tight… the resounding response is ‘my shoulders and hips’, and this is the inspiration for the Hips & Shoulders Foundation Series kicking off Wed, Nov 27th.
This 4 week Series dives deep into how to counter act the tension and restriction that happens almost naturally in our lives today.
Whether it is from sitting at a desk, using a computer or mobile phone, driving, sedentary lifestyle or sports training the repeated motions of these daily activities impact your posture and potentially your quality of life.
Join us as we explore these 2 very important joints in our body. You will reduce tension, learn how to improve your range of motion, and better understand what in your daily life you can do to help counter act the building of tension and restriction of motion.
Some of the topics we will cover:
* Why hips and shoulders get tight
* Stretches you can do anytime
* Principles for using your shoulders in yoga
* Understanding your range of motion
* Release tension and tightness in hips and shoulders
