What do you think of when you hear the word ACCOMPLISHMENT?
As we continue to celebrate 2019, doing the work of completing on the past and creating space for the future, let’s look at the accomplishments over the past year.
Accomplishment is defined as: act of accomplishing something, skill or ability acquired by training or practice, any acquired ability or knowledge.
Each of us accomplishes many things in our lives everyday. Whether it is the simple things or those that take time to achieve. Throughout 2019 you will have amassed a long and lengthy list of accomplishments.
To be with your accomplishments requires being with the acknowledgement of having achieved. And this is not always comfortable for us humans.
What do you say to yourself when you accomplish something? Can you let the praise and acknowledgement or achievement empower you in life?
How about when you don’t accomplishment something, what do you say then? Is this empowering, do you see this as learning opportunity?
It is powerful to acknowledge your accomplishments, fulfilled or not. To accept yourself and your reality, be radically honest, admit your mistakes and own the outcomes of your actions.
When you allow yourself to let go of your biases, act in the face of fear and count on yourself, there is a space that opens up to accept your struggles, dream big, set audacious goals and make plans for reaching them.
With this in mind, what have you accomplished?
